The company serves over 1,200 clients and is expanding globally. You will lead a small team of data engineers within the Engineering organization, combining hands-on technical contribution with line management and coaching. You'll report to the VP Engineering. HANDS-ON ENGINEERING AND DELIVERY As a senior technical contributor, you'll design, build, and operate the data pipelines, integrations, and services powering Ravio's compensation benchmarks, customer-facing tools, and AI agents. You'll take a platform engineering approach, creating reliable, reusable capabilities that enable Engineering, Data Science, and Insights teams to build on trusted data without requiring bespoke support for every change. You'll embed data quality, governance, and security into everyday delivery through automated checks, clear ownership, and appropriate access controls. You'll integrate data systems into shared development, deployment, and monitoring practices using version-controlled transformations, automated tests, and repeatable deployments. You'll own reliability and day-to-day support of production data systems, improving monitoring and recovery, and building reusable ingestion patterns and self-service workflows. You'll leverage AI-assisted tools for development, testing, documentation, and investigation, helping the team use them effectively with appropriate verification and data protection. TEAM MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP You'll lead delivery planning and ways of working, keeping priorities, scope, and dependencies visible. You'll participate in shared product prioritization, bringing requests from Data Science, Insights, and Operations into an agreed delivery plan. You'll partner with software engineers, product managers, and data colleagues to make timely decisions and share responsibility for outcomes. You'll line manage and coach a small team of data engineers, providing regular feedback and supporting their technical and career development.
