Extreme Reach is seeking a CloudOps Engineer to design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure and monitoring solutions for their video advertising platform. This role is central to scaling and operating mission-critical systems that power global video advertising delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and document cloud infrastructure and monitoring solutions
- Automate manual operations tasks to streamline processes and reduce manual effort
- Manage and support proactive monitoring solutions across production environments
- Perform Tier 3 support for production infrastructure with 24x7 on-call coverage during weekends and public holidays, operating across APAC, UK/EMEA, and US time zones on a 3-shift rotation
- Act as first responder for infrastructure and production incidents
- Perform root-cause analysis and prepare incident/RCA reports
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurring incidents
- Create and manage automated infrastructure solutions, including automated builds and configuration management
- Monitor production environments, troubleshoot issues, and manage deployments
- Identify system improvement opportunities to increase reliability and reduce incidents
- Analyze trends and themes in reported issues to prevent recurrence
- Perform actions on product codebase (backend/frontend) for real-time diagnosis of major incidents
- Assist developers in understanding bug details and user scenarios to accelerate triage and resolution
- Deliver analysis and reporting on frequently occurring production problems
The role operates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you'll work with team members to gather requirements and deploy cloud technology. You'll be responsible for understanding large-scale on-premises and cloud mission-critical systems, including networking, security, redundancy, scalability, monitoring, and performance KPIs.

Requirements:
- Expertise in designing and maintaining cloud scalable systems

- Knowledge of infrastructure automation, builds, and configuration management
- Understanding of large-scale on-premises and cloud mission-critical systems (networking, security, redundancy, scalability, monitoring, performance KPIs)
- Experience with Tier 3 support and 24x7 on-call responsibilities
- Ability to work across multiple time zones (APAC, UK/EMEA, US)
- Fast, adaptable, with proven ability to integrate and exploit new technologies, PaaS offerings, and APIs
