Atlys is building an AI-first platform to remove friction from international travel. The company has processed visas for 1M+ travellers across 127 countries and is scaling rapidly.
As an iOS Engineer, you will build and scale the Atlys iOS app, helping millions of travellers apply for visas faster and with less uncertainty directly from their phones. This is an end-to-end ownership role for someone who obsesses over performance, polish, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and ship core app experiences in Swift and SwiftUI across the visa journey, including discovery, document upload, payments, and application tracking.
- Own app quality and performance metrics: launch time, crash rates, memory usage, and app size across devices, iOS versions, and network conditions.
- Integrate AI-powered features such as smart document capture and conversational assistance into fast, native experiences.
- Ship features rapidly with product, design, and backend teams, running experiments and iterating based on data.
- Raise engineering standards through clean architecture, thoughtful code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.

Requirements:
- 3–5 years of iOS development experience, including shipping and scaling at least one consumer app on the App Store.
- Exceptional proficiency in Swift, including Swift Concurrency (async/await), with hands-on experience in SwiftUI and UIKit.
- Solid grasp of modern app architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture, or TCA), dependency injection, and modularisation with Swift Package Manager.
- Experience building robust networking and data layers using REST/GraphQL APIs, URLSession, Core Data or SwiftData, and offline-first patterns.
- Ability to measure and improve app health using Xcode Instruments, Firebase Crashlytics, XCTest, and analytics or experimentation SDKs.
