Salary: CAD 136,000 - 160,000 / annual
Robinhood's International Expansion team is building customer-facing experiences for international markets across iOS, Android, web, and backend. As an iOS Engineer on this team, you will build and improve iOS experiences that help bring Robinhood's products—Brokerage, Money, and Crypto—to customers in new international markets.
You will contribute to product launches across multiple regions, delivering high-quality mobile experiences while working as part of a cross-functional team spanning mobile, web, and backend engineering. Your responsibilities include building and maintaining iOS features that support equities trading, brokerage account management, and customer onboarding experiences. You'll collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, compliance partners, and operations teams to deliver reliable mobile functionality tied to customer and business goals.
You will also improve application performance, testing practices, observability, and release processes for the iOS platform. You'll contribute to technical design discussions and implement scalable mobile architecture patterns across the codebase, participate in code reviews, documentation, and collaborative engineering processes that support platform reliability and maintainability.
The role is based in the Toronto, ON office with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. Robinhood emphasizes the value of in-person work to accelerate progress, spark innovation, and strengthen community.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of professional iOS engineering experience building and shipping production mobile applications
- Proficiency in Swift and experience developing applications using modern iOS frameworks and architecture patterns
- Experience collaborating with product, design, and backend engineering teams to deliver customer-facing features
- Comfortable improving application quality through testing, performance optimization, and maintainable engineering practices
- Strong communication skills; ability to contribute constructively during design reviews, planning discussions, and code reviews
