Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America, combining AI, advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing to help aerospace and defense companies build rockets, satellites, aircraft, ships, and other mission-critical systems up to 10x faster and at significantly lower cost. The company recently raised $1.37B in Series D funding at a $7.87B valuation and is rapidly expanding manufacturing capabilities across welding, casting, forging, electronics, and additive manufacturing.
The Workforce Systems team within Workforce Development is responsible for the documentation, skills tracking, and compliance infrastructure that enables technician training, certification, and production readiness across Hadrian's factories. As the pace and complexity of manufacturing operations grows, this role owns the execution that keeps the system running smoothly.
Key responsibilities include:
- Capability Knowledge Coding: Structure raw capability information into skills matrix entries, standard documentation, written evaluations, and compliance course assignments.
- Content Revisioning: Manage the revision process for existing documentation and system content as processes change, ensuring updates follow revision control standards and are published accurately across all systems.
- New Process Documentation: Collaborate with Training Specialists and subject matter experts to understand new processes and develop accompanying documentation once cleared for technician handoff.
- Trainee Handbooks: Work with Training Specialists and SMEs to identify foundational knowledge requirements and develop trainee handbooks introducing key concepts.
- Documentation Maintenance: Audit, reformat, and maintain training documentation across all active stations to ensure content meets current standards. Publish approved documentation and manage access requests to maintain audit compliance.
- Skills Matrix Administration: Enter, maintain, and update skills data and organizational requirements within the skills matrix platform based on defined processes.
- LMS Administration: Maintain existing compliance courses, enter and edit data as needed, and build e-learning content for compliance-related topics.
- System Hygiene: Ensure documentation spaces, skills data, and certification records are consistently accurate, well-organized, and ready for internal and external audits.
You will work with Training Leads, SMEs, and governance teams to gather information, clarify requirements, and ensure nothing is published outside of approved standards. The work directly impacts what happens on the factory floor and requires discipline across multiple platforms and systems.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Attention to detail: catch errors, inconsistencies, and gaps before they become problems; understand that accuracy in documentation and systems data directly affects training quality and audit outcomes.
- Knowledge translation: take raw or unstructured information from SMEs, engineers, or governance teams and convert it into clear, structured content across multiple systems.
- Revision control: treat documentation as a controlled asset; manage updates through proper processes; ensure nothing is published outside of approved standards; keep content accurate as things change.
- Systems literacy: pick up new tools quickly and work within multiple platforms with discipline, regardless of the specific system.
- Organization: manage a queue of documentation requests, content builds, and administrative tasks without dropping items or losing track of status.
- Communication: work with SMEs, Training Leads, and other partners to gather information, clarify requirements, and close open loops without needing heavy direction.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Background in technical writing, instructional design, or LMS administration in a manufacturing, engineering, or regulated environment.
- Experience working with raw process data or engineering documentation as source material for training content.
- Familiarity with skills matrix platforms or structured competency frameworks.
- Experience in a role where documentation accuracy and version control were non-negotiable.
- Manufacturing or engineering background with genuine interest in how knowledge gets structured and transferred.
- Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO documentation standards.
ITAR REQUIREMENT: Must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
