Scale is hiring an Infrastructure Software Engineer for the Apps Platform Infrastructure team in London. You'll build and evolve the platform's deployment and observability layers across multiple cloud providers and on-premises environments, serving both internal teams and customer-managed deployments.
In this role, you'll expand the deployment footprint to cover on-premise, all major cloud platforms, and beyond. You'll ensure fast, secure, and reproducible deployments across all supported cloud service providers and on-premises infrastructure. A key focus is expanding platform observability so that forward-deployed infrastructure teams can efficiently operate customer deployments.
You'll partner closely with internal teams to understand their deployment needs, debug issues, and build tooling that serves their use cases. You'll respond to incidents and production issues with urgency, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive fixes. You'll help develop and maintain a product roadmap for deployment and observability, lead architecture reviews, and own projects end-to-end from design through deployment in fast-paced cross-functional settings.
Scale develops reliable AI systems for critical decisions, providing high-quality data and full-stack technologies that power leading models. The company works with industry leaders like Meta, Ernst & Young, Mayo Clinic, and U.S. government agencies including the Army and Air Force.
