FlixBus is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to lead efforts maintaining and improving the company's global identity and access management platform. You will work within the IT Infrastructure Services team, which designs, implements, and manages cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions supporting internal business services including identity and access management, security and compliance configuration, communication tools, file sharing, and infrastructure consulting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Integrate new internal and external applications into the identity infrastructure (e.g., SSO) following best practices
- Work on projects to improve internal role-based access control concepts
- Consult other teams and guide them to success, leveraging identity and access management services
- Drive innovation and improve services together with the team
- Automate recurring tasks
- Design the future IT infrastructure of Flix

REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Entra ID or similar identity and access management platforms
- Advanced knowledge of modern authentication protocols (OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SAML)
- At least 3 years of scripting experience (ideally Python)
- At least 1 year of experience with Infrastructure as Code solutions (preferably Terraform)
- Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools to streamline infrastructure automation, troubleshooting, and daily operations
- Basic experience using APIs
- Plus factors: containerization and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes), IaaS solutions, modern frontend frameworks (React) or web technologies, M365 products (Exchange Online, SharePoint/OneDrive, Microsoft Teams)
