Salary: USD 166,000 - 220,000 / annual

Anduril Intelligence Systems (AIS) focuses on positioning Anduril as a lead provider of specialized engineering and products for Intelligence Community customers.
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will own and advance Kubernetes container orchestration strategy across both cloud (GCP) and bare metal deployments. Your expertise will be foundational to the reliability and scalability of the entire platform, from the core cloud hub to a growing number of on-premise edge nodes. You will be responsible for the full cluster lifecycle, implementing best practices in GitOps and Infrastructure as Code to ensure robust and repeatable workload deployments. This is a key role where you will serve as a subject matter expert, strengthening the team's overall orchestration capabilities and partnering closely with Edge-Cloud teams to solve complex deployment challenges.
Key responsibilities include:
- Container orchestration across cloud and failover-edge environments: cluster lifecycle management, GitOps implementation, and workload reliability
- Managing a Helm mono-repo and implementing Kubernetes best practices for managing dynamic configurations
- Partnering with the Edge-Cloud Reliability pod on deploying and reconciling workloads to on-premises nodes
REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret / SCI Clearance
- Mid-level expertise in Kubernetes, containers, GitOps (Flux/Argo or successor), and Infrastructure as Code
- Comfortable spanning cloud and bare metal environments
