As Head of Legal Engineering, you will lead a critical function at the center of Blee's platform—translating legal requirements and customer guidance into reliable, scalable AI review rules. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the Legal Engineering team and setting the function's strategic direction
- Owning how legal and regulatory requirements become reliable, scalable AI review across the customer base
- Building Blee's market presence through speaking, writing, and thought leadership on AI, legal, and compliance
- Working directly with customers' legal and compliance teams to understand content analysis requirements and translate them into AI evaluation logic
- Enabling Implementation and Customer Success teams with legal and compliance context for effective customer support
- Driving AI quality by measuring and continuously improving accuracy and reliability of Blee's AI review
- Keeping legal logic current with changing regulations, customer guidance, and best practices
- Partnering with Product to ensure Blee reflects how legal and compliance teams actually work
- Setting standards and best practices for consistent, high-quality, scalable legal work
- Supporting Blee's in-house legal team on company legal matters, including commercial agreement review and negotiation
You'll work closely with product, implementation, customer success, AI engineering, and legal teams, as well as legal, compliance, and marketing leaders at major organizations.
Blee has offices in San Francisco and New York with a hybrid model. The company values in-person collaboration but offers remote opportunities for the right candidate, with quarterly off-sites and opportunities to work from other offices.
