Salary: USD 120,000 - 180,000 / annual
Suger is an end-to-end orchestration system for B2B marketplaces and ecosystems, powered by AI and integrations. As GTM Engineer, you will be the technical backbone of the growth team, building and automating tools that drive demand generation through data-driven systems and intelligent automation. This role sits at the intersection of code, data, and go-to-market execution.
Key responsibilities:
- Own and operate the GTM automation engine, scraping, integrating, and transforming data into real-time actions across email marketing, SDR outreach, and web engagement
- Manage a technical GTM backlog and prioritize execution against an OKR-driven roadmap supporting growth, marketing, and sales objectives
- Build outbound and email marketing triggers that identify high-intent signals and launch automated campaigns, personalized sequences, and SDR outreach through CRM and engagement tools
- Leverage OpenAI and third-party APIs to develop tools that generate personalized email and outbound content at scale
- Model and visualize GTM data by writing queries and building dashboards to uncover growth opportunities and measure campaign performance
- Develop internal tools and scripts using Python, SQL, or JavaScript to accelerate workflows and support GTM experiments
- Maintain and extend GTM integrations connecting Salesforce, Clay, Apollo, Outreach, and Segment to ensure seamless data flow across the GTM stack
You'll be a foundational hire in the Sales Engineering organization with outsized impact potential. The team includes ~72 people with backgrounds from Google, Meta, Salesforce, Pave, Motive, and Square. The company has strong product-market fit and a proven sales motion; this role shapes the GTM engine for the next growth phase.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2–5 years of experience in data engineering, growth engineering, applied data science, or similar technical role
- Fluency in Python and SQL; bonus points for JavaScript, APIs, and scraping tools like Puppeteer or Playwright
- Hands-on experience with GTM and marketing systems like Clay and Salesforce, with understanding of how data, enrichment, CRM, and automation drive pipeline
- Experience with email marketing and automated outreach, with interest in building systems that personalize and scale engagement
- Familiarity with OpenAI's API and ability to build tools that automate content creation, personalization, or enrichment
- Bias toward speed: ability to turn ideas into prototypes quickly and willingness to experiment with new technology
- Understanding of GTM motions and excitement about accelerating pipeline generation through smart systems, automation, and data
- Comfort thriving in fast-paced, zero-to-one startup environments and owning projects end-to-end
