Plaid is seeking a GTM Compliance Analyst to support the company's growth while managing regulatory and compliance risk. The Compliance team ensures Plaid adheres to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies across its operations.
In this role, you will review prospective and existing customer deals to assess regulatory, licensing, and policy risks, with particular attention to customer business models, use cases, product configurations, geographies, and regulated activities. You'll document compliance decisions, rationale, conditions, and escalations in a clear and auditable manner, and track open onboarding conditions, approvals, renewals, and post-deal compliance obligations.
Additional responsibilities include supporting reviews of regulated or higher-risk segments (such as gaming), researching and interpreting regulatory and licensing requirements, developing and maintaining GTM compliance playbooks and risk-tiering frameworks, identifying recurring issues and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve policies and controls, providing training and office-hours support to GTM teams, and building reporting and metrics on review volume, turnaround times, risk themes, and outcomes.
