Linktree is seeking a Growth Lead - Strategic Finance to own the financial modeling and forecasting for the company's expanding revenue streams and growth initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Finance, you will be the Finance counterpart to Growth, Product, and Marketing leaders, working collaboratively to size opportunities, model new initiatives, and report on actual performance against forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end revenue model across all revenue lines (subscription MRR and new revenue streams), reconciling to actuals and long-range plans
- Build and maintain initiative-level financial models for each growth and monetization bet with explicit, testable assumptions that update as evidence arrives
- Own the monthly revenue forecast cycle: actualize results, re-forecast, explain variances, and distinguish signal from noise
- Model subscription MRR in depth by plan, term, segment, and geography, connecting the product-led growth funnel through to revenue
- Size new revenue opportunities before commitment, assess required investment and opex, and rank opportunities based on evidence
- Act as embedded Finance partner to Product, Growth, and Marketing leads, working to their roadmap and establishing targets and measurement methods
- Lead the recurring growth and revenue performance forum from the Finance side, owning agenda, analysis, commentary, and follow-through
- Contribute revenue narrative to executive, Board, and investor materials; feed cash forecast and annual budget

- Strong revenue forecasting experience with clear grasp of how forecasts tie to actuals, cash, and long-range plans
- Deep fluency in subscription and product-led growth businesses: MRR movements, ARPU, retention, cohort behavior, trial and conversion mechanics, funnel step conversion
- Experience modeling revenue impact of product and funnel initiatives and holding a view on what was genuinely incremental
- Experience owning a recurring performance reporting forum for senior audiences, including variance commentary and follow-up
- Experience managing or mentoring an analyst or manager, or clear readiness to take that on
- Exceptional Google Sheets skills and familiarity with modern BI and analytics tooling (e.g., Hex, Looker, ChartMogul)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- Based in Melbourne or Sydney with the right to work in Australia
