Salary: USD 77,647.5 - 117,450 / annual

Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations Cloud, a platform enabling organizations to harness IoT data to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability in physical operations across agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing. You will join the Global Benefits Team as a Global Benefits and Mobility Partner, serving as a trusted advisor to employees, recruiting, people partners, business leaders, and external advisors. This role focuses on delivering a compliant, equitable, and high-quality mobility and immigration experience across the employee lifecycle. Initially, you will concentrate on global mobility and immigration, including program operations, case management, policy interpretation, vendor partnerships, and compliance. You will build working knowledge of leave of absence (LOA) and benefits through structured training and on-the-job development. Key responsibilities include: - Own and administer global mobility and immigration programs, policies, and processes across supported countries and employee populations - Serve as subject-matter expert and primary point of contact for immigration, international assignments, relocations, green cards, H-1B CAP, visa sponsorships, transfers, and mobility-related matters - Identify opportunities to simplify and scale processes through AI and automation, including case intake, document collection, approvals, deadline tracking, and employee communications - Partner with People, Recruiting, Legal, and People Analytics to design and implement AI-supported workflows - Build and maintain clear policies, process guides, and self-service resources for employees and internal partners - Measure impact of process improvements through case timelines, service quality, and stakeholder feedback - Work closely with global mobility and immigration partners, including immigration, tax, relocation, and external providers; coordinate priorities and monitor service quality, costs, and employee experience - Develop working knowledge of LOA and benefits programs, policies, systems, and processes - Assist with LOA and benefits case coordination, vendor follow-up, documentation, and issue resolution Requirements: - 4+ years of experience in global mobility, immigration, or closely related Total Rewards, People Operations, or HR operations role - Demonstrated expertise in managing immigration and mobility programs, cases, vendors, and employee-facing processes across multiple countries or jurisdictions - Experience working closely with global mobility and immigration partners and coordinating work across internal and external stakeholders - Strong understanding of immigration compliance, mobility policy administration, cross-border employee movement, and related risk considerations - Excellent judgment and discretion when handling confidential, sensitive, and time-critical employee matters - Strong project management, organization, prioritization, and follow-through skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills with an employee-centered approach - Comfort working in an evolving, global environment with ambiguity and competing priorities - Willingness and ability to learn LOA and benefits; prior experience helpful but not required at same depth as mobility and immigration expertise Ideal candidate also has: - Experience supporting a high-growth, global, or technology organization - Expertise with mobility and immigration - Some experience in Benefits in LOA - Experience managing or optimizing third-party vendor relationships - Familiarity with global assignment, relocation, tax, payroll, or permanent-establishment considerations - Relevant professional certification or education in immigration, global mobility, HR, benefits, or related field
