Pennylane is a fast-growing fintech in France and Europe, providing accounting and financial software for SMEs and accounting firms. The company has raised €400M (including from Sequoia), grown to 1,000 employees across 25+ nationalities, and serves 900,000+ SMEs and 6,000+ accounting firms.
You will join the Growth Team within the Marketing website squad, reporting to Thomas, the growth engineer team lead. Your mission will focus on:
• Global Scaling: Build and refine infrastructure supporting internationalization (multi-language, localized user journeys).
• Intelligent Automation: Design and deploy AI-driven tools and automated workflows to streamline lead acquisition and personalize user experiences at scale.
• Tracking & Insights: Implement and enhance sophisticated visitor tracking systems to turn raw data into actionable growth levers.
• Ecosystem Connectivity: Design and develop robust APIs ensuring seamless data flow between internal tools and the broader fintech ecosystem.
• High-Velocity Experimentation: Launch needle-moving projects including A/B tests, white-label integrations, predictive lead scoring, and optimized acquisition funnels.
• Performance Optimization: Maintain and push the limits of the public website and registration funnels for peak conversion across all markets.
You will work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders including Data, Sales, and Marketing teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
Tech Stack: Rails, JavaScript, Vue.js, Nuxt.js, PostgreSQL, Git/Github. Ideally, you have experience with data tools integration (GTM, Segment) or data visualization (Datastudio, Looker) and familiarity with digital marketing (paid acquisition, conversion, SEO).

REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 2+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer
• Mastery of Ruby on Rails
• Proficiency in a JavaScript framework (Vue/Nuxt preferred)
• Fluent in French & English (B2/C1 level); German is a bonus
• Efficiency obsession: ability to leverage AI tools (LLMs, Copilots) and automation
• Adaptability and comfort in a fast-shifting startup environment
• Strong collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders
• Ideally: knowledge of data tools integration, data visualization, and digital marketing concepts
