Salary: USD 97,620 - 156,190 / annual
Conga is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer II to build and improve the Rebates platform, a core component of its commercial operations suite. The Rebates platform enables customers to manage rebate programs and calculate results from transaction data. You will own features end-to-end across frontend, backend, and data boundaries, partnering with teammates on technical decisions and shipping reliable changes to production.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build accessible, maintainable features in React and TypeScript, connecting them to backend APIs
- Design and implement Java services, REST endpoints, business rules, and data access code for rebate workflows
- Work with SQL-backed and document data, including schema changes and migrations
- Contribute to accrual processing and troubleshoot data correctness and performance issues in distributed jobs
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, review code, and investigate production issues
- Partner with the team to improve build, deployment, and observability workflows
This role is ideal for an engineer with 3–5 years of experience who enjoys working across the stack and wants real ownership of a product customers depend on for financial accuracy. Rebates is one of Conga's core capabilities, and your work directly shapes how customers run their rebate programs. Accrual accuracy has real financial impact, so the correctness and reliability you build into the platform matter.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 to 5 years of professional software engineering experience across frontend and backend systems
- Strong Java skills and hands-on experience with React and TypeScript
- Working knowledge of SQL, API design, and automated testing
- Ability to deliver well-scoped work independently and collaborate across application, data, and deployment boundaries
- Experience with AI-assisted development strongly preferred (GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar tools)
PREFERRED TECHNOLOGIES:
- Spring Boot, Dropwizard, JDBI, Liquibase, Microsoft SQL Server, or Azure Cosmos DB
- Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, or other Azure services
- Databricks, Delta Lake, or data-intensive financial calculations
- Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, or JUnit
