Kargo Technologies is seeking a Fullstack Engineer to join their product team. In this role, you will translate business requirements into scalable features and deliver product enhancements on schedule. You'll be responsible for maintaining the stability and performance of Kargo's product suite through regular updates, optimizations, and proactive monitoring. Your day-to-day work includes implementing new features, fixing reported bugs through systematic troubleshooting and debugging, and ensuring code quality through comprehensive testing and documentation.
You'll collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and fellow engineers to create solutions that meet both user needs and business objectives. The role emphasizes writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code while applying best practices for deployment, monitoring, and performance tuning. You'll also contribute to system improvements and stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- At least 2 years of fullstack development experience
- Strong React front-end experience
- Proficiency in back-end development using Node.js, Express, or similar technologies
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and database systems (SQL or NoSQL)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent debugging, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in agile, cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented, proactive mindset with eagerness to learn emerging technologies
- Major plus: Experience with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Windsurf
