Base is America's next-generation power company deploying a distributed battery network to transform the centralized grid into a resilient, abundant system. The company is growing rapidly across Texas and nationwide, installing batteries at homes and solving complex interdisciplinary challenges in energy infrastructure.
You will own the products and systems driving acquisition, activation, and retention for Base's homeowner journey. This is a full-stack role with real ownership in a lean, fast-moving team. You'll experiment on and scale existing products while building new growth products and infrastructure from scratch.
Key responsibilities include:
- Turning ideas into shipped tests across the member journey (sign-up flows, paid ads campaigns, referral experiences)
- Writing code, analyzing results, and deciding what to test next
- Owning products and systems that drive acquisition, activation, and retention
- Building growth infrastructure that makes experimentation fast and trustworthy, including data pipelines
- Using judgment to identify leverage points and prioritize problems worth solving
- Finding opportunities and working from first principles rather than executing handed-down roadmaps

Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience building production software in product or full-stack engineering roles
- Strong frontend and full-stack engineering skills across modern web applications, APIs, data models, and stateful user experiences
- Strong product judgment and track record of turning ambiguous ideas into shipped, useful products
- Experience building in 0-to-1 or fast-moving environments where user needs, product shape, and success metrics are evolving
- Experience using product analytics, experimentation, and data to guide decisions
- Ready to work with intensity and urgency, and to hold a high bar for your own output
