Salary: USD 183,000 - 276,000 / annual
Amplitude is the leading AI analytics platform serving over 4,700 customers including Atlassian, Burger King, NBCUniversal, and Square. The company is expanding beyond analytics into a full digital optimization platform. You'll join the Statsig team, one of Amplitude's fastest-growing and most strategic initiatives, which sits at the intersection of product, data, and decision-making.
In this role, you'll operate as an owner, shaping both product and technical direction of a system used by sophisticated product teams worldwide. This is not a ticket-taking role—you'll drive product direction in partnership with design and product leaders, own critical product surfaces end-to-end from ideation through production, and build high-performance experiences that make experimentation accessible, powerful, and trustworthy.
You'll work across the full stack using NextJS and Node.js, building and evolving systems that scale with customer growth. You'll leverage modern AI tooling to accelerate development, prototyping, and iteration cycles. You'll raise the bar for engineering quality across code, architecture, and user experience, lead by example through hands-on development and technical mentorship, and move fast on ambiguous problems to ship customer-facing value.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent technical field
- Proven experience operating at senior-level scope, leading large ambiguous initiatives with significant business impact
- Strong full-stack expertise: React + backend systems (Node.js and/or Python)
- Deep sense of ownership; you create direction rather than waiting for it
- Exceptional product taste; you care deeply about UX, details, and building things people love
- AI-native mindset; you actively use and experiment with latest AI tools
- Ability to balance speed and quality in high-velocity environment
- Strong judgment in technical trade-offs and system design
