Salary: USD 130,000 - 160,000 / annual
iCapital is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to work end-to-end on new features, enhancements, and defect resolution across their software platforms. You will collaborate closely with Product Management throughout the development lifecycle, detailing requirements, reviewing work in progress, and addressing issues identified during testing.
In this role, you will develop web applications using React for the frontend and Ruby on Rails for the backend. You will demonstrate a strong grasp of system design, architecture, and technical trade-offs, with the ability to mentor junior engineers effectively. You will participate in architecture reviews, technical design sessions, daily stand-ups, and peer code reviews as part of the standard software development and change management processes.

**Requirements:**
- 5+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise SaaS cloud-based solutions
- 3+ years of Ruby on Rails development experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React
- 2+ years of front-end and back-end test automation development using RSpec, Cucumber, or similar tools
- Demonstrated understanding of relational database concepts and modeling practices
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies (Kubernetes, AWS, etc.)
- Ability to work in Agile/Kanban methodology
- Solid problem-solving ability and excellent communication skills
- Collaborative approach to software development
- Technical leadership/management experience is a plus
