ElevenLabs is an AI research and product company that has raised $781M and reached a $22B valuation. The company launched in January 2023 with a human-like AI voice model and now serves millions of users and thousands of businesses including Deutsche Telekom and Meta. ElevenLabs operates three main platforms: ElevenAgents (for deploying voice and chat agents at scale), ElevenCreative (for generating and editing speech, music, image, and video across 70+ languages), and ElevenAPI (providing access to AI audio foundational models). ElevenMusic is a consumer music app where music is the core product—a place to listen, create, remix, and stream. The team operates independently from the main organization with an agent-first architecture and fast CI/CD, enabling ideas to reach users within a day or two. In this role, you will own features end-to-end, from problem identification through shipping both product and backend. Most work involves building new capabilities in a space where few companies are working with AI and music, so there is no established playbook. You will define problems yourself, test ideas with real users, and collaborate with research engineering to transform model capabilities into products people love. Your work ships to a large audience within days. The company culture emphasizes high-velocity execution, impact over job titles, AI-first thinking, excellence in all work, and a global team prioritizing talent over location. You'll have access to learning and development stipends, annual company offsites, and co-working stipends if needed. REQUIREMENTS: - Have shipped and owned a well-designed consumer product from zero to real users, spanning both frontend and backend - Understand your systems deeply enough to immediately spot when a PR is wrong, insecure, or needlessly complex - Demonstrate excellent product judgment: know the most valuable thing to build and what not to build - Work autonomously with minimal direction and take responsibility for fixing problems as you find them - Have a genuine interest in music or in the people who make it BONUS: - Open-source or GitHub track record - Experience building music or audio products - Experience with recommendation systems or embeddings
