ElevenLabs is an AI research and product company that has transformed how we interact with technology through human-like AI voice models. Founded in January 2023, the company now serves millions of users and thousands of businesses including Deutsche Telekom and Meta. With $781M in funding and a $22B valuation, ElevenLabs operates three main platforms: ElevenAgents (for deploying voice and chat agents at scale), ElevenCreative (for generating and editing speech, music, image, and video across 70+ languages), and ElevenAPI (providing developers access to AI audio foundational models).
The Full-Stack Engineer role sits within Developer Growth, which owns the surfaces developers and their agents use: SDKs, API, documentation, and the ElevenAPI dashboard. You will join a small, remote team and own features across frontend and backend, using direct user feedback and experiments to guide product decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Improving the ElevenAPI dashboard so developers can manage integrations and understand how their applications and agents use ElevenLabs
- Streamlining onboarding flows, helping developers create API keys, get started with agents, and reach their first successful integration
- Designing and shipping experiments to improve activation, API key creation, and self-serve subscriptions, then using results to guide further changes
- Owning features end-to-end from discovery and design through frontend, backend, deployment, and iteration, working closely with the team and learning from users
There is scope to grow into technical and team leadership over time, depending on your experience and impact.
ElevenLabs operates with a high-velocity, impact-focused culture emphasizing rapid experimentation, lean autonomous teams, and minimal bureaucracy. The company is AI-first, using AI across engineering, growth, and operations. The team is global, prioritizing talent over location.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong full-stack engineering skills, with particular strength in frontend development and confidence building backend services and APIs
- Strong product judgement and attention to UX, with evidence of making complex workflows intuitive for developers
- Experience using user feedback, product data, and experimentation to prioritize work and improve measurable outcomes
- Independent, end-to-end ownership, clear communication, and genuine enthusiasm for developer tools and developer experience
- Prior generative audio experience is not required
- Experience building developer-facing products, API dashboards, or onboarding flows is particularly valuable
- Previous technical or team leadership experience is a plus
