In this Full Stack Engineer role, you will own problems end-to-end—from scoping through shipping and iteration—working directly with business and engineering teams to turn ideas into production features. You'll use agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) as a core part of your design, build, test, and review workflow, and help shape how the team maximizes these tools. You'll collaborate with AI engineers to integrate AI features into the platform, wiring agents, LLM-powered workflows, and MCP integrations into services and user interfaces with streaming responses and appropriate guardrails.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining microservices using Java 21 and Spring Boot within an open architecture that integrates ecosystem players; defining, developing, and optimizing RESTful APIs with scalability and performance in mind; working closely with designers to turn mockups into responsive, intuitive interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS; ensuring seamless integration with third-party systems used by PE firms, distributors, private banks, and fund administrators; identifying and fixing bottlenecks across the stack; championing unit, integration, and end-to-end testing plus DevOps best practices; and sharing knowledge to support other engineers.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven professional software engineering experience with substantial hands-on work across both front end and back end, ideally on fintech applications
- Fluency with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) as part of everyday workflow, with sound judgment on reviewing, testing, and owning AI-generated code
- Practical exposure to building with LLMs (calling model APIs, integrating agents or tool-use flows, shipping features on platforms like AWS Bedrock) and appetite to go deeper
- Strong backend experience with Java and Spring Boot, including designing and building microservice architectures with RESTful APIs, and proficiency with SQL and ORMs
- Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Tailwind CSS, with strong grasp of responsive and mobile-first design
- Experience in modern cloud distributed architecture, particularly AWS, Kubernetes, and Kafka
- Solid understanding of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, plus CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
- Experience working in agile environments with cross-functional teams (product, design, engineering)
- Proactive problem solver who takes initiative and brings high ambition to fast-moving teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with focus on scalable solutions
- Strong communication skills, including explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
