Nox Metals is a technology company supplying aluminum plate, bar, and rounds to aerospace and defense manufacturers. The company operates in Metro Detroit and Los Angeles, using software and automation to accelerate supply chain speed beyond industry norms. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will build the software connecting quoting, inventory, purchasing, production, shipping, and customer experience workflows. You'll own complete features from browser to database, working directly with salespeople, operators, and manufacturing teams to understand real operational constraints. Key responsibilities: - Design and ship customer-facing and internal web applications - Build clear interfaces, reliable APIs, and durable data models - Work directly with salespeople, operators, and manufacturing teams to understand workflows - Turn ambiguous operational problems into small, testable product releases - Improve performance, reliability, testing, observability, and developer tooling - Investigate production issues and own fixes through deployment - Simplify systems and retire unnecessary complexity - Review code and help raise the engineering standard - Measure whether shipped work improves speed, accuracy, or customer experience You are strong across both front-end and back-end development, product-minded, and comfortable owning features from discovery through production support. You reason carefully about data, state, and business rules, communicate clearly across technical and operational teams, and take responsibility when systems don't behave as expected. You're curious, practical, and comfortable learning unfamiliar domains. Nice-to-have experience includes TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, NestJS, or PostgreSQL; manufacturing, logistics, inventory, or B2B commerce systems; building data-intensive or real-time operational tools; and using AI tools to build, test, and investigate software. The role is full-time, in-person in Los Angeles. Equity is offered alongside company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance.
