Airis Labs transforms user-generated content into actionable field intelligence for government agencies worldwide. The platform empowers frontline analysts with multimodal AI tools that extract clarity from unstructured, fragmented media. We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our team and play a central role in building, scaling, and maintaining production-ready, client-facing applications.
You'll work closely with a cross-functional squad spanning Product, UX, and R&D to turn complex requirements into seamless, intuitive user experiences. Your responsibilities will include:
• End-to-end development of resilient, client-facing applications using React and Python
• Scaling distributed backend systems, async messaging (Kafka), and relational databases (PostgreSQL)
• Containerizing services with Docker and Kubernetes for consistent dev/test/prod environments
• Partnering with Product and Design teams to translate complex requirements into top-tier user experiences
• Leveraging AI tools daily to accelerate development, debugging, and code quality
• Active participation in architecture reviews, process improvements, and fast-paced startup iterations

REQUIREMENTS:
• ~5 years of full-stack engineering experience shipping production-ready, client-facing web applications
• Strong React expertise paired with Python or Node.js, REST APIs, and microservices
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS)
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable backend architectures and distributed systems
• Comfortable with high autonomy, fast pace, and evolving priorities
• Active user of AI development tools for faster coding and troubleshooting
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and collaborative mindset
NICE TO HAVE:
• Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
• TypeScript, WebSockets, or real-time data streaming experience
