Melotech is a media and entertainment company that has reached 4 billion minutes of content consumed globally in just 24 months. Founded by entrepreneur Soheil Mirpour and backed by top VCs (Cherry Ventures, Speedinvest, GFC) and angels from Spotify, Blackstone, and KKR, the company is building AI-enhanced technology to create and distribute media.
As one of the first developers, you will own features across the full stack, bridging beautifully designed frontends with scalable backends. You'll work autonomously alongside the founder and team to answer critical questions about system scalability, shipping velocity, and AI integration. Your responsibilities include:
- Owning features across full stack, writing clean code for frontend and backend systems
- Working directly with commercial teams to architect and implement platform enhancements
- Using AI coding assistants and modern development tools to accelerate workflows
- Building robust APIs and integrating AI models into production systems
- Designing end-to-end solutions that combine data flows into unified models
- Contributing creative ideas and making bold decisions that shape the technology platform

REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of full-time full-stack development experience
- Proficiency in core programming languages with hands-on experience in modern web frameworks (preferably Node.js/Next.js) and databases
- Expert-level proficiency with AI coding tools and development agents as part of standard workflow
- Experience building and deploying production-ready full-stack applications
- Strong collaboration skills across commercial, product, and technical teams
- Comfort adopting latest development technologies
- Thrives in fast-paced, performance-oriented environment
- Passion for music, video, or social media
