MaintainX, now part of Autodesk Operations Solutions, is a mobile-first work execution platform (CMMS) used by 13,000+ customers including Duracell, McDonald's, Shell, DHL, and Volvo to manage 13.9 million assets and 79.5 million work orders. The Core team is the heart of MaintainX's product—work orders, planning and scheduling, inventory and parts, reporting, and asset hierarchy. The team is investing heavily in new initiatives, including a newly formed Work Execution Platform team and a rebuilt Technician Experience, offering green-field ownership opportunities. You'll join one of several teams: Planners (scheduler workflows), Inventory Management/Parts (spare parts, purchase orders, forecasting), Home/Reporting (dashboards and reports), Work Execution Platform (work order primitives, recurrence, assignment, calendar, procedures, automations, permits), Technician Experience (GPS check-in, field UX, offline state), or Enterprise Data Management (multi-site capabilities, asset hierarchy, dynamic forms). In this role, you will ship features end-to-end from planning through production; partner directly with Product Managers and Designers to shape your team's roadmap; own a feature area or system's long-term health (reliability, performance, code quality); review code and mentor other developers; and raise the bar on tooling, testing, and delivery practices. You'll work on dense, data-heavy interfaces, large datasets, offline behavior, and multi-site scale challenges. Within your first 6 months, you'll own a feature area or system outright. The core stack is TypeScript, React, Node.js, and MySQL; some teams use C# or Python. You'll land on a team of 5–10 people and take on-call rotation. MaintainX prefers teams to be located around office hubs; in Canada, this includes Montreal and Toronto, with no strict in-office mandate. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years of professional experience building full-stack web or mobile products - Deep hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js - Experience with mobile-first, responsive, iterative development - Track record of writing maintainable, testable code you're comfortable handing off to others - Strong written and verbal communication (explaining technical tradeoffs to designers, support leads, and developers) - Comfort making progress on a problem before the spec is fully settled, adjusting as you learn more - Day-to-day use of AI tools in your development workflow, not just occasional experimentation - Nice to have: GraphQL, React Native, or SQL database experience; experience with scheduling/calendar UIs, data-heavy front ends, offline-first or sync architectures, multi-tenant or enterprise platforms, workflow engines, or inventory and transactional systems
