BlueOptima is an engineering intelligence platform serving enterprise clients (banks, insurers, large organizations) with data-driven analytics on software engineering productivity and AI ROI. We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to help build and evolve our scalable, data-driven analytical dashboard with responsive, user-friendly interfaces that deliver key insights to global clients.
In this role, you will be a core contributor to our engineering team, responsible for developing product applications and components using modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, React). You will leverage our in-house design system to ensure consistency and quality across all user interfaces, and contribute to the technologies, standards, and architecture of our UI platform. Beyond hands-on development, you will lead and mentor junior engineers, guiding them in best practices and modern front-end development techniques.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyze, develop, implement, test, and maintain application components using relevant technologies and tools
- Collaborate with product managers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Own feature development from concept to deployment, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery
- Work with the Support team to resolve user-reported issues and provide workarounds for critical problems
- Contribute to performance tuning of application code and incorporate design changes to improve overall performance
- Lead and mentor a team of junior developers

Requirements:
- 5 to 7 years of professional experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Proficiency in modern web development: HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience developing web-based user interfaces
- Strong understanding of UI usability and Single Page Web Application (SPA) architecture
- Thorough understanding of RESTful web services and hands-on experience implementing them
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and native SQL
- Ability to work in fast-paced, agile development environments and learn new frameworks/stacks quickly
- Self-directed with ability to ship code rapidly in dynamic settings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills
Desirable:
- Knowledge of SVG-based charting libraries (D3.js)
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins
