Oden Technologies is a Manufacturing AI company building real-time applications that combine process and context data with advanced ML and AI algorithms to help factory operations teams monitor, analyze, and optimize production. As a Frontend Engineer, you will build the UI that factory floor teams rely on to get insights from their data. Your work will focus on creating visual components, AI interaction interfaces, and supporting code that allows AI agents to assemble and adapt the factory-floor UI in a self-service manner. This is a senior-level role requiring an AI-forward mindset and comfort building with AI tools and AI-native products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building visual components, AI interaction interfaces, and supporting code that enable AI agents to assemble and adapt the factory-floor UI for self-service user changes
- Implementing new features and prototypes using the best tools for each problem, primarily working with React SPAs and GraphQL/Golang APIs
- Collaborating with Product, Design, and Data Science teams to understand user problems and identify solutions
- Participating in unstructured hackathons and research spikes to test new ideas and technologies
You will work closely with Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, and Data Scientists across the company in a primarily internal-facing, cross-functional role. Technologies used include TypeScript and React for frontend, Go and Python for backend, and open-source technologies like Postgres, Clickhouse, gRPC, GraphQL, Apache Beam, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm.
This is a full-time position based in Brazil or Argentina. Candidates must be available to work 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time (ET).
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience (senior level)
- Proficiency with React and TypeScript
- Familiarity with one or more backend-focused programming languages (Golang, Java, C++, Python, Rust, or similar)
- Familiarity with data storage and processing systems in cloud environments
- AI-forward mindset: you build with AI tools (general-purpose LLMs like Claude and ChatGPT, and beyond) for coding, design, collaboration, and documenting knowledge, and you've built or contributed to products that let others use AI to change how the product looks or behaves
- Tinkering mindset: energized by experimentation and open-ended research spikes, not just prescriptive spec work
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineers and non-technical internal stakeholders
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship (no visa sponsorship available)
PREFERRED:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (not required)
