Adyen is a financial technology platform providing payments, data, and financial products to major customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. The FP&A Manager will sit close to the business and help shape strategic direction over the next 24 months by understanding key financial levers and enabling smarter business trade-offs.
In this role, you will own the full planning cycle including annual planning, monthly updates, and rolling forecasts. You will build a forward-looking understanding of key drivers behind payments revenue and financial products revenue, translating these insights into clear choices and actions for the business. Your focus will be on understanding what is likely to happen, what drives it, where the business can influence outcomes, and how to turn that into stronger plans and better decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the complete planning cycle with clear visibility on outlook, risks, opportunities, and trade-offs
- Building deep understanding of payments and financial products revenue drivers and translating them into actionable business choices
- Collaborating closely with Commercial, Product, Data, RevOps, and regional Finance teams to challenge assumptions and improve forecast quality
- Enhancing planning models, logic, and processes to enable faster decision-making
- Identifying opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve insight generation, efficiency, and decision-making
You will work in an office-first environment in Amsterdam, collaborating with senior stakeholders across the organization. The role emphasizes not just reporting on what happened, but pushing forward on what should happen next.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or commercial finance, ideally in technology, payments, or high-growth environments
- Hands-on experience with planning, forecasting, and performance analysis, with ability to connect business developments to financial outcomes
- Comfortable working across teams, building alignment, and driving topics with senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical mindset with builder mentality; ability to move beyond reporting to strategic recommendations
- Interest in how AI, automation, and new tooling can improve Finance operations, with eagerness to apply these in practice
