Behavox is a cloud-native AI company providing an integrated controls platform for global financial institutions—banks, asset managers, hedge funds, private equity firms, insurance businesses, and commodity firms. The platform unifies communications and trade surveillance, compliant archiving, policy management, and front-office analytics on a single, AI-native SaaS stack. The FP&A Analyst role maintains and develops defined components of Behavox's financial and operating models, ensuring forecasts, budgets, actuals, and underlying accounting assumptions are accurately reflected. You will produce financial analysis that explains performance, tests key assumptions, and gives decision-makers clear visibility into the financial implications of operating choices. Key responsibilities include: - Executing recurring SaaS forecasting, scenario analysis, and business-review reporting within established FP&A frameworks - Supporting acquisition evaluation and integration by preparing valuation inputs, scenario analyses, and pro-forma model components - Maintaining assigned components of integrated financial and operating models by incorporating actuals, approved budgets, forecasts, scenarios, and sensitivities - Building defined valuation, scenario, and pro-forma analyses using agreed methodologies to support acquisition evaluation and integration - Producing recurring financial analysis by reconciling results and isolating material performance drivers for monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews - Diagnosing financial and SaaS metric movements by testing assumptions and modeling operating levers and downside scenarios - Applying AI and spreadsheet automation to recurring modeling, validation, and analytical workflows while verifying outputs - Working independently on established analyses and model components, identifying inconsistencies and improving reliability and efficiency You will be accountable for accuracy, traceability, and timely execution of outputs, while broader model architecture, transaction conclusions, and financial decisions remain outside your ownership. The role is hybrid (1 day in office) based in Toronto, with modern offices in Toronto and Montreal. Behavox is headquartered in London with offices in New York City, Montreal, Seattle, Singapore, and Tokyo. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: - Financial Modeling & Accounting Foundations: Apply three-statement, operating-model, and accounting principles to maintain assigned model components, including SaaS revenue recognition and cost treatment; accurately incorporate approved budgets and actuals - Forecasting & SaaS Unit Economics: Understand bottom-up forecasting, driver-based modeling, and SaaS unit economics sufficiently to identify operational drivers behind forecast and performance movements - Mergers, Acquisitions & Integration: Apply valuation, purchase-accounting, pro-forma, and consolidation concepts to defined acquisition analyses and integration work under established transaction assumptions - Business & Commercial Economics: Understand the company's principal revenue drivers, cost structure, and operating levers; apply that knowledge to investigate variances and assess financial implications - Financial Systems & AI Tooling: Understand spreadsheet modeling, financial-data workflows, automation, and appropriate AI use sufficiently to improve recurring analysis while preserving validation and financial control
