IVIX is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join the Delivery team in a hands-on, customer-facing role. You will work directly with government agencies to understand their operational challenges, identify relevant data sources, and architect solutions that transform complex data into actionable intelligence and findings.
In this position, you will combine strong engineering fundamentals with analytical thinking and deep customer empathy to solve real-world problems for government stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:
• Engaging directly with government customers to understand mission-critical requirements and pain points
• Identifying, evaluating, and integrating relevant data sources to support decision-making
• Designing and building scalable solutions that process and analyze complex datasets
• Translating technical capabilities into business value and measurable outcomes
• Delivering solutions that have direct impact on government operations and mission success
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet customer needs and organizational standards
This role requires someone who thrives in dynamic, customer-centric environments and can balance technical depth with pragmatic problem-solving. You will be expected to own projects end-to-end, from requirements gathering through deployment and customer handoff.
