Quindar is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to ensure their satellite mission software performs reliably in the field. In this hybrid product and engineering role, you'll deploy software in customer environments, troubleshoot issues across the full stack (backend APIs, cloud infrastructure, databases, frontend), and travel to customer sites to embed with operations teams and build technical relationships.
You'll prototype products using live customer data and direct feedback, act as the voice of the customer in product discussions, and translate field insights into roadmap priorities and solutions. You'll partner with Product & Engineering to turn successful prototypes into production code, develop playbooks for repeatable integrations, and maintain documentation and training resources.
This is a generalist role that moves across the full stack and leverages AI tools to ship faster. You'll work in ops centers and customer environments where failure isn't an option—your work directly impacts the success of space missions.
