The Platform Enablement & Automation team is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer—a hands-on, technically strong engineer who embeds directly with business teams to understand their needs firsthand and owns solutions end-to-end. This role combines deep engineering expertise with business acumen and a solution-first mindset. AI-assisted development is central to how the team works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own solutions from business requirements through design, build, deployment, and ongoing maintenance
- Embed with business teams to capture requirements and translate them into production software that eliminates manual, repetitive work
- Build across the full stack using AI-assisted development: Node.js services, React front end, and data layer; understand generated code well enough to guide, review, and fix it
- Use AI-assisted development tools daily to design, prototype, write, and ship production-grade software faster
- Build and extend AI-native platform capabilities, including AI-assisted workflows, agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and self-service features
- Manage version control, branching, pipelines, and releases across Sandbox, QA, and production environments
The role is based in Herzliya (Glilot area) on a hybrid basis, full-time.
Requirements:
- 4–6 years of hands-on software engineering experience or closely related technical role (implementation, integration engineering, technical consulting, business systems/automation engineering, DevOps, or technical support engineering) with ownership of solutions from concept through production
- Solid understanding of Node.js and strong ability to read and understand code at a high level, including code you didn't write
- Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and its core concepts: requirements, design, testing, release, and maintenance
- Extensive, hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools, with a proven track record of using them daily to build real, production-grade software
- Practical experience with AI and LLM platforms, agentic workflows, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
- Solid command of version control, pipelines, and multi-environment release management (Git or Azure DevOps)
- Solution-first, business-oriented mindset: able to work directly with business stakeholders, turn ambiguous needs into clear technical approaches, and ship solutions
