monday.com is an AI work platform used by 250,000+ customers to bring people, workflows, and AI agents together on one flexible platform. As a Forward-Deployed Engineer in the Services organisation, you'll be a key technical partner embedded in high-value, strategic customer accounts.
You'll work directly with enterprise customers and C-level teams to understand business and operational challenges, then design, build, and deploy scalable workflows and solutions that transform how they work. Your responsibilities include:
- Gathering and refining customer requirements alongside C-level and operational stakeholders
- Designing and building scalable workflows and solutions tailored to customer needs
- Developing prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and MVPs to validate ideas quickly
- Owning end-to-end technical onboarding for enterprise customers, including integrations, SSO, SCIM provisioning, and security configuration
- Building tooling, scripts, and automation to make deployments faster and more reliable
- Acting as the escalation point for complex technical issues, coordinating across the engineering stack
- Partnering with Product, Engineering, and AI teams to translate customer needs into platform capabilities
- Influencing product direction through direct customer engagement
- Serving as a trusted technical advisor to customers and internal stakeholders
- Documenting and training customers to operate independently
This is a high-visibility, autonomous role at the intersection of engineering, strategy, and customer impact. You'll translate field insights into product direction and leave every customer more capable than you found them.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years in a forward-deployed, implementation, or customer-facing technical role within SaaS or enterprise software
- Strong ability to translate business processes into structured workflows and system logic; comfortable facilitating discovery with operational and executive stakeholders
- Strong working knowledge of integration protocols, including REST APIs, GraphQL, SAML/OIDC, and SCIM
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI and Agentic AI, including LLMs, MCP, and AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and Claude Code
- Thrives in ambiguous, high-stakes environments; owns problems end-to-end and drives them to resolution
- Communicates complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and produces scalable documentation
- Moves fast, thinks long-term, and treats every customer problem as an opportunity to build something better
BONUS:
- Familiarity with low-code integration platforms such as Make.com, Zapier, or Power Automate
- Comfortable reading, writing, and extending code across a modern web stack (Node.js, Next.js, TypeScript, React)
- Exposure to data engineering, analytics, or machine learning workflows
- Grounding in data modelling and solution architecture principles
