As a Financial Accountant, you will oversee day-to-day accounting operations leveraging AI functionalities, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliations. You will drive automation within the finance department, particularly in AP/AR cycles, to ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections. Key responsibilities include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; coordinating financial reporting of subsidiaries and performing consolidation processes; analyzing financial data to provide insights to management on performance and financial health; maintaining and improving accounting policies, processes, and internal controls; and ensuring compliance with tax, regulatory, and statutory requirements. REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration with corresponding focus - Minimum two years of working experience in a Big4 audit firm - Very good knowledge of accounting principles (HGB & IFRS or US-GAAP) and financial statements - Continuous improvement and development mindset with never-stop-growing mentality - Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively - Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English - Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze large sets of data - High sense of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
