Nudge is developing non-invasive, ultrasound-based brain stimulation and imaging technology to improve people's lives. The company is building vertically integrated hardware, software, and research capabilities with a mission to create products benefiting millions of people. As Finance Operations Manager, you will own day-to-day finance operations across purchasing, procurement, vendor management, accounting workflows, and spend processes. Key responsibilities include: - Manage the purchasing process end-to-end: purchase requests, approvals, vendor coordination, order tracking, and issue resolution - Partner with engineering, research, operations, and workplace teams to ensure critical equipment, materials, services, and supplies are purchased accurately and on time - Build and improve systems, tools, and controls supporting purchasing, approvals, expense management, vendor onboarding, and financial operations - Maintain accurate records across invoices, purchase orders, contracts, vendor information, budgets, and spend documentation - Ensure spend is well-managed, properly approved, and visible to stakeholders - Identify bottlenecks in purchasing and finance workflows and implement practical improvements to accelerate company velocity - Support tax, treasury, audits, insurance, and other finance-related processes as needed You will work in a fast-moving startup environment, switching between process-building and hands-on execution while collaborating closely with technical, research, and operations teams. REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum 5 years of industry experience - Experience in finance operations, procurement, and purchasing in a fast-moving startup - Strong understanding of purchasing workflows, vendor management, approvals, invoices, and spend controls - Hands-on experience with accounting operations, AP, reconciliations, close support, and financial documentation - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Comfort working cross-functionally with technical, research, and operations teams - Good judgment around spend, prioritization, approvals, and escalation - Ability to balance process-building with hands-on execution - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - High integrity and strong professional judgment
