You will be the Finance Manager reporting directly to the Head of Finance, owning the day-to-day accounting function end-to-end for the first time as the company brings accounting in-house. This is a hands-on role with full ownership of collections, accounts payable, payroll, bookkeeping, and month-end close across US and UK entities. You'll be the single point of contact for customers and vendors on collections and AP matters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own collections and AP operations
- Lead month-end close and consolidation across US and UK entities
- Manage payroll and sales commissions in coordination with Sales and RevOps teams
- Evaluate, select, and implement finance technology tools while controlling spend
- Build AI-driven automation into reconciliations, reporting, and close processes
- Establish and refine accounting processes and playbooks from the ground up
The role offers the opportunity to build a modern, best-in-class finance function leveraging AI at its core, rather than inheriting legacy processes. You'll run the function from day one and progressively take on technical accounting, compliance, and treasury responsibilities as the company scales.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent qualification
- Several years of in-house accounting experience post-qualification
- Proven track record of owning a month-end close end-to-end (not just supporting one)
- Multi-entity or cross-border (US/UK) experience
- Strong process ownership mindset; prefer delivering finished work independently rather than seeking permission at each step
- Attention to detail with ability to catch errors others miss
- Enthusiasm for using AI to improve accounting speed and accuracy, not just applying tools as handed
