Plaid is seeking an Engineering Manager for its Network Health team, which protects the Plaid network from fraud and abuse by building robust, intelligent risk platforms and services. You will lead a growing, deeply technical team responsible for risk engineering across all Plaid products and applications.
In this role, you will set long-term strategy and roadmap, translate fraud scenarios and business requirements into technical priorities, and drive execution with a high technical bar. You will manage and develop a team of 5 engineers and 2 embedded data scientists through clear goal setting, coaching, and feedback. You'll partner closely with technical and product leaders across Plaid to drive the Network Health strategy, uphold high standards for technical quality and delivery velocity, and work hands-on with data to identify trends and opportunities. This is a high-agency leadership position suited to someone who thrives in ambiguity while remaining close to the technical work.
