GetYourGuide is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Agentic Platform team. This role combines technical leadership with people management, owning a platform that enables teams across the organization to build agentic workflows by abstracting underlying infrastructure complexity.
Your responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining an opinionated platform for agentic workflows that allows mission teams to focus on delivering business value
- Full ownership of hiring and performance management for your engineering team, supporting engineers in reaching their full potential
- Partnering closely with peers and stakeholders to shape roadmap and portfolio allocation, driving high-impact delivery
- Ensuring technical and project plans are aligned with stakeholders and team members
- Approaching the agentic workflow domain with a product mindset, treating Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers as customers
- Coaching and supporting engineers without micromanagement
Required qualifications and experience:
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to align technical/project plans with stakeholders
- Product mindset applied to internal platform development
- Proven technical background in building secure, high-impact internal tools and LLM workflows
- Passion for people management and coaching
- Ability to simplify complex topics
Preferred qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with modern AI agent frameworks (e.g., Codex or Claude) and evaluation platforms (e.g., Braintrust)
- Background in agent safety, sandboxing execution environments, or managing identity and access controls for autonomous AI workflows
- Familiarity with developer experience benchmarking, observability tools, and LLM cost and routing optimization
