CloudWalk is a fintech company building the future of payments with millions of customers. This role focuses on designing, building, and operating Open Finance integrations that connect CloudWalk products to the Brazilian Open Finance ecosystem, including consent flows, data sharing, and payment initiation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and operate Open Finance integrations connecting CloudWalk to Brazil's Open Finance ecosystem
- Implement and maintain secure APIs and connectors for account information and payment initiation services
- Partner with Product, Compliance, Risk, and partner banks/institutions to ship Open Finance capabilities end-to-end
- Own the quality of integrations through testing, monitoring, incident response, and clear runbooks
- Improve developer experience for teams consuming Open Finance services via clear contracts, SDKs, tooling, and documentation
- Use AI as a practical accelerator for analysis, coding, and operations
- Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements:
- Solid experience building and operating backend systems and APIs in production
- Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and consent-driven data flows
- Comfort with cloud environments (GCP or AWS) and modern infrastructure practices
- Ability to write clear, maintainable code and collaborate through code review
- Practical use of AI tools to speed up engineering work
- Excellent communication skills with advanced English for work in a global team
- Autonomous, ownership-driven mindset
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on experience with Brazil's Open Finance / Open Banking standards and ecosystems
- Familiarity with financial or payments integrations (Open Finance / Open Banking experience)
- Experience with payment initiation, account data aggregation, or similar regulated financial APIs
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and high-throughput messaging
- Prior work with compliance, audit logs, and security controls in financial products
