We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong product mindset. In this role, you will go beyond writing code: you will understand business pain points, collaborate on solution design, think about end-user experience, and take end-to-end responsibility for the impact of what you build.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate actively in business and product discussions, collaborating to transform HR and financial challenges into elegant, efficient technical solutions
• Design and evolve scalable, performant, and resilient systems applying software architecture best practices (Clean Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, DDD)
• Use AI coding agents (Codex, Claude Code, etc.) proficiently to prototype, code, refactor, and accelerate deliveries with high quality standards
• Own the complete software lifecycle from conception through deployment, monitoring, and production observability (with SRE team support)
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, pair programming, constructive feedback, and dissemination of best practices
• Propose and test new approaches, technologies, and patterns to keep Flash's engineering at the technological forefront
• Work highly collaboratively with engineering peers, product, and design teams, fostering continuous learning culture
Requirements:
• Solid fundamentals in software engineering: deep mastery of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented/functional programming, design patterns, microservices architecture, and technical trade-off decisions
• Practical proficiency with AI coding agents (Codex and similar tools) for daily development workflow optimization
• Experience sustaining production systems, creating and reading metrics, alerts, and SLIs/SLOs to ensure product reliability
• Excellent communication and collaborative teamwork skills with active mentoring mindset
• Ability to connect technical decisions to customer impact and business results
Differentiators (not required but valued):
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, ReactJS, NestJS, MongoDB, and relational databases
• Background in product-oriented organizations with rapid learning cycles, testing, and user impact metrics
• Prior experience in payments, payment arrangements, or financial solutions
• Familiarity with cloud ecosystems (AWS, GCP, Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization
