Nametag is building identity verification and account protection infrastructure to help companies verify the real person behind high-risk workforce actions, from account recovery to identity checks. The company addresses a critical infrastructure problem: deepfakes, social engineering, and stolen credentials have made "who is actually on the other side of this request?" a core security concern.
You will be the operational center of gravity for the engineering organization, blending three distinct responsibilities:
**Engineering Program Management (60%):** Run the engineering operating cadence—planning, status, retrospectives—ensuring consistency and actionable output. Track initiatives across teams: what's in flight, what's blocked, what's at risk, and dependencies. Coordinate cross-functional work without a natural owner, including compliance evidence collection, audit preparation, and recruiting logistics. Maintain internal documentation and trackers that keep engineering legible to the rest of the company.
**Chief of Staff Work (30%):** Capture decisions and action items, then follow them to completion. Prepare briefing material and summaries for internal reviews, board-adjacent material, and cross-functional meetings. Serve as an early, discreet sounding board with visibility into sensitive personnel, compensation, and strategic matters. Notice what's being dropped across the organization and raise it before it becomes a problem.
**Executive Support (10%):** Own the CTO's calendar, making real prioritization decisions. Manage travel, expenses, and logistics of offsites and team gatherings. Triage inbound requests and surface what genuinely needs the CTO's attention. Prepare for meetings in advance with agenda, context, prior commitments, and desired outcomes.
**AI-Forward Approach:** Use AI tooling routinely for drafting, summarizing, meeting notes, and status synthesis. Build repeatable workflows to reduce manual assembly. Maintain judgment and accuracy; tools draft, you decide what's true and what goes out.
