Reliable Robotics is building safety-enhancing automated aviation systems to make air transportation safer, more convenient, and transformative for how goods and people move globally. The company is developing next-generation phased array radar technology—historically reserved for specialized applications—to enable Detect and Avoid capabilities for widespread commercial aviation use.
As an Embedded Software Engineer on the Embedded Systems team, you will develop embedded software for the radar system. Your work will directly enable aircraft product demonstrations, unlock higher-level capabilities, and support product certification and market delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop C++ flight software requirements, design, code, unit tests, and requirements-based test cases following DO-178C software development procedures
- Develop Python-based software integration test cases
- Focus on numerical optimization, networking, protocol drivers, memory interfaces, and software-to-FPGA interface layers
You'll have a unique opportunity to develop an end-to-end product from bare metal to aircraft-level integration, with direct impact on aircraft capabilities. The team operates in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with an agile/iterative development lifecycle.
Note: This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Employment is contingent on compliance with U.S. export control laws and documentation of U.S. person status or appropriate authorization.
