Dawn Aerospace, a leading green propulsion provider for space transportation, is seeking an Electronics Engineer to design, qualify, and produce high-reliability electronics for space propulsion systems. This role offers hands-on involvement across the full lifecycle of flight hardware—from early concepts and prototypes through qualification and production release.
You will design and develop mixed-signal, power, and embedded electronics for space applications, performing detailed design work including component selection, schematic capture, and PCB layout using KiCAD while maintaining designs in Git. You'll apply ECSS and NASA design practices to ensure reliability in the space environment, plan and execute verification and qualification test campaigns, and perform hands-on bring-up, debugging, and root-cause analysis using standard lab equipment. The role includes supporting new product development from concept through design and test, contributing to manufacturing support and continuous improvement of released hardware, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (systems, mechanical, production) to deliver on schedule.
The position is open for both Intermediate and Senior Engineers, with scope of responsibility aligned to experience and capability. This is not a repetitive role—you'll own complex problems and their solutions, working as part of a small, highly capable team that moves quickly. You'll have real ownership from early concepts through to flight-ready systems that actually fly, with direct impact on the future of space access.
Dawn Aerospace's portfolio includes in-space propulsion systems (170+ units already on operational satellites with 200+ in production), in-space servicing and satellite refueling capabilities, and a spaceplane program combining rocket propulsion with aircraft reusability for high-frequency, low-cost sub-orbital access. The company is distributed across the Netherlands, France, New Zealand, and the USA.
