Kaseya is seeking a Director of Global Events to lead the program management function within its Global Events organization. Reporting to the Vice President of Global Events, this leader will own how Kaseya's global event portfolio is planned, governed, resourced, and measured, transforming strategy into an integrated, predictable, and scalable operating model across every region and event type. The role oversees end-to-end program management of flagship conferences, regional events, executive experiences, customer and partner programs, and sales kickoffs. Own the global events calendar, balancing business priorities, regional needs, budget, and team capacity. Lead event intake, business case review, and prioritization, ensuring every investment is tied to clear objectives such as pipeline, customer retention, and brand. Run portfolio planning and business reviews with senior stakeholders, recommending where to invest, scale, consolidate, or retire programs. **Program Governance & Operating Model:** Build and lead the Events Program Management team, defining frameworks, phase gates, and decision rights used to deliver every event. Create standardized playbooks, templates, timelines, RACI models, and run-of-show standards that scale across event types and regions. Establish a consistent planning cadence, including status reporting, risk reviews, and executive checkpoints, that gives leadership clear visibility across the portfolio. Drive continuous improvement through post-event retrospectives, lessons learned, and process optimization. **Cross-Functional Program Leadership:** Serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders, managing dependencies, resolving conflicts, and ensuring alignment on priorities and timelines. Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product to define event objectives, success metrics, and post-event measurement. Own multimillion-dollar budgets, multi-currency forecasting, contract negotiations, and vendor partnerships. **Requirements:** - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field - 8+ years of event management and program management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role managing teams - Experience within technology, cybersecurity, IT services, or high-growth organizations - Advanced proficiency with project and portfolio management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, Jira), event management platforms (e.g., Cvent), and CRM and marketing automation systems (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot) - Strong knowledge of international event logistics, risk management, and compliance requirements - Exceptional program management skills, including planning, prioritization, dependency management, and risk mitigation across concurrent programs - Strong executive presence and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, often without direct authority - Experience leading distributed teams in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments - Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
