Lifeforce is a telehealth and longevity-focused healthcare company scaling rapidly across multiple states. As Director of Clinical Operations, you will lead the operational infrastructure that enables clinicians (physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants) to deliver care at scale. You'll own the end-to-end clinician lifecycle—from licensing and credentialing through onboarding, scheduling, quality assurance, and performance management—ensuring systems and processes scale ahead of demand rather than behind it.
The company is growing its clinician network from 50+ to 150+ providers over the next 15 months while simultaneously opening physical longevity centers. This role is critical to managing that expansion without operational breakdown.
You will report to the COO and lead four teams: Clinical Operations, Clinical Onboarding & Enablement, Credentialing & Licensing, and Clinical Quality Assurance. You'll start with a small team and build it to approximately 15 people by end of 2027.
Key responsibilities include:
- Capacity & Scheduling: Own clinician capacity planning by state, clinician scheduling across telehealth and centers, and track utilization and access metrics.
- Hire to Productive: Manage the full pipeline from offer through licensure, credentialing, onboarding, training, and ramp to full schedule. Set and hit targets for time-to-credentialed and time-to-productive.
- Quality & Clinician Performance: Run the clinical QA program, build performance management processes with clinical leadership, and ensure compliance with the independent contractor model.
- SOPs, Systems & Change Management: Own the SOP lifecycle, manage clinical operations tools (Healthie, Rippit, Guru, scheduling and credentialing platforms), and run clear change communication.
- Metrics & Reporting: Build clinician and clinical operations scorecards covering capacity, utilization, time-to-productive, credentialing, quality, satisfaction, retention, and partner with Data & Analytics to automate reporting.
- Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership: Hire and develop managers across four teams, support franchise center clinicians, work closely with Medical Director and other departments, and own the clinical operations budget.
In your first 90 days, you'll map current operations, establish baseline metrics, ramp new team members, publish a capacity plan through end of 2027, and gain visibility into the clinician pipeline. In your first year, clinician capacity will stay ahead of member demand in every state, new clinicians will move predictably from offer to full schedule, every clinician will be reviewed on schedule, SOPs will be current and centralized, and your teams will be fully built with strong leaders.
This is primarily an operations leadership role, not a clinical one. Clinical standards and judgment remain with the Medical Director and clinical leadership. You'll own the people, processes, systems, and data that enable clinicians to do their best work at scale.
