Tripledot Studios is one of the world's largest independent mobile games companies, with 2,500+ employees across 12 studios and over 25 million daily active users. The Ludios studio, based in Jakarta and Melbourne, develops and publishes casual free-to-play mobile games including titles built around globally recognized IP.
The Group IT team seeks a DevOps & IT Operations Engineer to join the Jakarta team and support the Ludios studio. This is a hands-on role with primary focus on DevOps, where you'll improve how infrastructure and services are provisioned, deployed, secured, monitored, automated, and operated across Ludios and Group IT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, Infrastructure as Code, and operational automation to help services move reliably from development to production
- Maintain and support local build machines and self-hosted build runners, including availability, configuration, security, performance, capacity, and toolchains
- Provision and support environments for game development, builds, testing, internal platforms, and mobile game releases
- Deploy, configure, monitor, and support internal, third-party, and AI-enabled services, including networking, authentication, secrets, access controls, logging, and monitoring
- Improve and maintain reliable, secure, and scalable cloud and infrastructure environments supporting Ludios Engineering and Group IT services
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, build, deployment, connectivity, identity, and environment-related issues with Engineering and Group IT teams
- Improve monitoring, alerting, backup, recovery, security, reliability, and cost efficiency across infrastructure and hosted services
- Contribute to local IT Operations in Jakarta, including employee support, onboarding/offboarding, SaaS access and license reviews, audit support, endpoint and office infrastructure, and hardware lifecycle management
You'll work across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, deployment workflows, internal services, networking, identity, security, and operational automation. The role includes hands-on work with both Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), requiring strong DevOps and cloud fundamentals rather than expertise limited to a single platform.
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days in office Monday-Thursday, remote on Friday), plus 20 days fully remote working per year from anywhere in the world.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Systems Engineering, IT Infrastructure, or similar technical role
- Hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud platform, with ability to apply knowledge across different cloud environments
- Experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and version-control-based engineering workflows
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, automated infrastructure provisioning, and configuration management
- Experience administering or supporting self-hosted runners, build agents, or dedicated build machines
- Experience automating technical and operational processes using scripting, APIs, or workflow automation
- Good understanding of networking, identity and access management, SSO, secrets management, security controls, and least-privilege principles
- Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, infrastructure troubleshooting, and incident resolution
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with practical, improvement-focused approach and willingness to contribute to wider IT Operations when required
