In this DevOps Engineer role focused on custody infrastructure, you will design and implement automated deployment solutions that eliminate manual processes, improve developer productivity, and enable engineering teams to deliver software faster and more safely. You will configure system, storage, and networking parameters for virtual machine deployments on the VMware platform, monitor system stability and performance after deployment, and proactively identify and address potential issues. You will handle incident resolution and project-based tasks related to server deployments, while applying security best practices in server installation, configuration, and administration to protect the custody infrastructure.
The role is based in Singapore and requires regular liaison with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders across the group, so Mandarin communication ability is essential.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or similar infrastructure engineering role
- Experience with Linux (Ubuntu & CentOS), virtualization technologies (Oracle & VMware), database management (MySQL), and monitoring/operational intelligence products (Prometheus, ELK)
- Knowledge of best security practices for server installation and administration
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Experience with AWS services and cloud-native architectures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with self-motivation to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin
PREFERRED:
- Experience in fintech or financial services industry
- Interest in or knowledge of cryptocurrency, blockchain, and digital asset custody
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
