Salary: USD 123,000 - 172,000 / annual
1Password is seeking an Intermediate Developer to join the Enterprise Tenants and Policies team, which focuses on the B2B side of the enterprise password manager. This team builds features that help large organizations manage 1Password at scale, including multi-tenancy, linked accounts, policy management, and admin experiences for managing groups and teams.
The role involves coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining production software systems for new and existing enterprise features. You'll contribute to the company's transition from a monolithic application toward a microservice architecture, working across multiple services and codebases. Key responsibilities include building features that support multi-tenancy and policy management, collaborating with cross-functional teams (authentication, authorization, insights, managed service providers), contributing to design and architecture documents, mentoring junior team members, participating in planning and estimation, writing comprehensive tests, reviewing code, and maintaining documentation. You'll also participate in on-call rotational work.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of software development experience
- Experience with a modern backend language (Go, Node.js, Ruby, or Python)
- Proven experience in software development best practices and coding standards
- Ability to solve moderately complex problems and propose effective solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical partners
- Passion for testing methodologies and debugging techniques
- Comfort working across multiple services and collaborating with other teams

- DevOps practices experience while contributing to application development
- Kubernetes and infrastructure configuration experience
- Microservices or distributed systems experience
- Frontend development with TypeScript and React
- Exposure to security, enterprise, or admin-focused products
