Docker is seeking a Delivery Program Manager to build and operate the Professional Services function from the ground up. You will manage the end-to-end engagement lifecycle for Docker's most strategic customers, translating their technical and business requirements into scoped service engagements and shepherding them through delivery. You will own delivery operations: directly managing customer engagements, planning governance cadences, tracking milestones, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring smooth handoffs to Support and Technical Account Managers. You will review technical assumptions in Statements of Work with solution architects to ensure estimates and timelines are realistic, and own customer readiness including environment prerequisites and acceptance criteria. You will also design and build reusable service offerings where none exist today. Partner with solution architects to create playbooks, runbooks, SOW templates, reference architectures, and onboarding workshops. Turn repeatable customer patterns into packaged, fixed-scope offerings with defined outcomes, durations, and pricing. On the infrastructure side, you will build program management and governance systems: intake frameworks, capacity planning models, risk registers, delivery dashboards, and milestone tracking. You will define and report delivery KPIs including on-time delivery, utilization, engagement margin, and customer satisfaction. You will own SOW amendment and change-order processes, and partner with Legal on SOW frameworks. This is a rare opportunity to shape how Docker serves its most strategic customers and define what great looks like for technical delivery at a high-growth, remote-first organization. You will have broad scope, executive access, and autonomy to build something that matters. REQUIREMENTS: - 8+ years of experience in technical program management, professional services, forward deployed engineering services, or equivalent cross-functional roles - Experience at a B2B SaaS, developer tooling, or infrastructure software company delivering implementation, migration, or adoption engagements to enterprise customers - Demonstrated experience building programs, processes, or practices from scratch (not just optimizing existing ones) - Strong technical fluency: comfortable participating in systems architecture discussions and understanding system dependencies - Strong structured problem solving, facilitation, and systems thinking - Experience with Professional Services tooling and business systems (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, PSA tools) - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to produce executive-grade program readouts and customer-facing documentation - High degree of personal accountability; comfortable owning ambiguous problems with limited oversight PREFERRED: - Professional services, consulting, or delivery experience at an infrastructure software vendor or systems integrator - Experience self-serving data and analytics (Looker, Tableau, or similar) to build performance reporting - Prior experience scaling a Professional Services or delivery organization through a growth or transformation phase - Experience building engagements with third-party partners and system integrators within professional services delivery models
